The date of the fall Kyiv Marathon has been changed — the event is to take place on October 31 — November 1, 2020.
Initially WIZZ AIR KYIV CITY MARATHON was expected to take place on October 24-25, 2020, however, on October 25 Ukraine will hold local elections where Ukrainians will be voting for representatives in local government authorities and city mayors. We would like for everyone to have the opportunity to vote, which is why we postpone the date of Kyiv Marathon by one week, which means the new date is is October 31 — November 1.
The change of date will allow Kyiv residents to get to polling stations without hindrance, as they would not need to take into account the schedule of traffic restriction. And participants from other cities of Ukraine (last Kyiv Marathon had almost 3,000 of them) would be able to vote on October 25 and come to Kyiv and run their courses of choice the following weekend.
Since we understand that the change of date may contradict your plans, Run Ukraine would like to accommodate your needs and find a compromise with those who have already registered for the 11th WIZZ AIR KYIV CITY MARATHON, which is why we suggest one of the following options:
- transfer registration to any other race within Ukrainian Majors Running League 2020 (the same or shorter course) with transfer of all purchased goods;
- refund.
To transfer your registration to another race, send an email to [email protected], stating:
- your race number;
- full name;
- event, to which you would like to transfer your registration;
- request regarding your purchased goods (engraving, t-shirt, medal holder or any other additional merchandise can be picked up at another race).
To get a refund, please, send an email to [email protected] stating:
- your race number;
- full name;
- bank card number;
- request regarding purchased goods.
To transfer your registration or get a refund, one must submit the request not later than March 10, 2020.
WIZZ AIR KYIV CITY MARATHON is the 11th Kyiv marathon organized by the Run Ukraine team. It will become the closing stage of the Under Armour Ukrainian Majors Running League 2020.
